In addition to touring, I
give workshops. Mostly to do with songwriting, singing,
and playing guitar. Here's what I've got on the go

"Alone Together" Virtual Sing
with Jane Lewis & Katherine Wheatley
TUESDAYS, 7:30-8:30 pm.
WEDNESDAYS, 1-2 pm.*
Every week, starting January 12, 2021.
Drop In / On Zoom / Pay What You Can.
Join us for a fun session of singing! We'll offer different songs each time, so you can drop in any week. You'll get lyrics in advance. We'll look at harmonies on one or two songs, but the majority will be pure singalong. They will be classic songs that you are likely to know, or can learn quickly. Pay what you can.
Please note: Technology does not yet allow a large group to sing together online in real time. So for these sessions, all participants will be muted and you will sing along with the song leader.
*Wednesday afternoons will run Jan 13 to Feb 3. If there is enough interest, we will continue after that date!

Songwriting Weekends
I began
co-writing with James Gordon, one of Canada's finest
singer/songwriters, a few years ago. Going through the
writing process together, we got the idea to present a
weekend songwriting workshop. We started in Guelph with
20 participants. To our delight, it was a success. The
workshops are designed to be stimulating and beneficial
regardless of the age and experience of the
participants. Professionals and amateurs, veteran and
aspiring writers, and some who have never written a
song before have taken part. Group sessions, one-on-one
mentoring, song sharing, a songwriting assignment and a
closing performance of the new works, all in a warm and
relaxing environment makes these weekends pretty darn
fulfilling. Future dates TBA.
Women's Music Weekend in Muskoka
With Jane Lewis, Linda McLean and Katherine Wheatley
Make joyful music with a small (15 registrants max)
but mighty group of women in a beautiful woodland
setting. We've put together a program that will suit
you—whether you're just starting to think about
making music or you're someone who's been at it for a
while and wants to dig in and learn something new.
We'll provide a nurturing environment for experiencing
the joy of singing, the magic of creating music, and
the power of playing together. There'll be yoga, group
singing, songwriting and vocal workshops, one-on-one
mentoring and co-writing sessions, campfire singing,
jamming, and a final concert on Sunday afternoon where
everyone has the opportunity to perform a song, perhaps
even one they've written during the retreat. You can
look forward to a weekend of inspiration, creativity,
empowerment and community!
